Hey guys,
wish you are doing great,
All the information you were
interested to know about the PlayStation
4 Pro revealed this month. In this video
let's take a look at 10 most interesting facts you will love to know.
This is Rohith
here from RA Tech here to reveal the vital info about the PS4 Pro. Let's get started:
1. The brand new and upgraded PS4
will be called the Play Station 4 Pro over the much speculated PS4 Neo codename
2. Sony also announced a new PS4 DualShock 4 Controller with an
extra light bar up front and a new redesigned
camera which is much more rounded now.
3. As all of you would have noticed,
the PS4 pro now comes with a newer beefed up design because of the
improvised configuration and specs. So this design has basically added another
deck above the existing PS4 console.
4. The improved PS4 pro internals comprises
of the existing 8 core AMD Jaguar
processor which clocks a slightly higher
speed at 2.1 GHz compared to the earlier 1.6GHz. It will also sport a better
GPU with AMD's new Polaris architecture clocked at 911MHz which is slightly
higher when compared to that of the PS4 which is 811MHz. So this new gpu has twice the no. of compute
cores and is capable of topping out an insane 4.20 T/Flops compared to
1.84T/Flops on the PS4 . It retains the same amount of memory i.e 8GB but is
overclocked to perform at 218GBps compared to the 176GBps. of the ps4. So all
the extra power can propel the PS4 pro to run games at 4k resolution with much
better textures and details all around.
5. The Sony PS4 pro will also support
HDR which indicates the High Dynamic Range.
This is nothing but the black's will
look blacker and white's more whiter, thus providing sharper and more vivid
colours with a wider color gamut. This
feature will also be available for the PS4 via an firmware update.
The PS4 Pro may have just been unveiled awaiting launch but a
handful of publishers and developers have already confirmed that their games
will support the system, adding 4K-upscaling and HDR support with future
updates.
Some of the
games that have confirmed the support for the new console.
·
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
·
Days Gone
·
Dishonored 2
·
Final Fantasy 15
·
Horizon: Zero Dawn
·
Infamous Second Son/First Light
·
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
·
Mass Effect: Andromeda
·
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
·
PES 2017
·
Resident Evil 7
·
Rise of the Tomb Raider
·

·
Watch Dogs 2
6. This might be a real bummer for
most of you but although the PS4 Pro is capable of running games at 4k
resolution, you do not get an in-built
UHD 4k player. This is done to cut down costs on the new console, but nonetheless
both Netflix and Youtube will provide you hours and hours of 4k content.
7, So for those of you who do not own
a 4k tv fret not because all the games that you play on the ps4 pro will have
better textures, have more details, have a more consistent frame rate and on the whole look much better than on the
PS4 or PS4 slim on your existing HD Tv.
8. The PS4 pro is forward compatible. So
basically what this means is that all games you already own for your PS4 will
also run on the ps4 pro but with better texture, details and on a higher
resolution if provided with the required patch by the developer.
9. All these feature's and better
internal's will result in a much better VR experience, with a consistent and
better frame rate throughout and with much better detail's and textures. One game that
Sony showcased in the conference was FarPoint which had twice the amount of
pixels than what can be supported on the original console and is visually
spectacular especially when played using a VR headset in person.
10.The PS4 pro is expected to be available by the 10th of November 2016 for a price of 400$ for the 1TB variant and will be sold alongside the PS4 slim which is basically the slimmed down version of the PS4 which will be available for 300$.
